Tea Time Tuesday

Hello my lovely tea friends and Welcome to my 38th Tea Time Tuesday!

As you can see, I have changed my Tea Time button to my own personal button. I don't like clutter and I have been finding too much of it on my sidebar so I decided to lose a few things and settle on one Tea Time Tuesday button. So I made a tea party button using one of my header pictures. Those of you who are using the old Tea Time Tuesday buttons may use this one if you prefer; it's up to you. This is the only one I will be using from now on.

Now on to my tea party! It is Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada and so we have been enjoying lots of pumpkin pie and whipped cream. I have a pie just for the tea party and I hope you will enjoy a big slice of it with your cup of tea.

Today I am using my little frenchy tea pot.

Porcellana De Paris is the stamp on the bottom of the tea pot.

A little birdie creamer and an Elizabethan teacup accompany the tea pot.

This pretty teacup was a shower gift many moons ago. As you can see, it has a pretty handle and trimmed in gold. One little bouquet adorns the inside of the cup too. Roses, blue bells, a slight touch of yellow, and green leaves are what make up the cute pattern on this one.
Elizabethan and fine bone china is all the marking there is on the teacup. "There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea." ~ Henry James Would you care for a piece of pumpkin pie and whipped cream with your tea? I also have some pumpkin cheesecake which a friend dropped off. You're welcome to try a slice of each if you so desire.
Thanksgiving~ A day to give thanks and reflect on the many blessings that have come our way in the past year. We celebrate Thanksgiving to express our gratitude to God for His divine favour. I am thankful for the grace which the Lord extends to me each and every day.
Even though my life has been plagued with health issues since January, I am thankful for a husband and family who love me. There have been some trials but there have also been some delights such as a visit from my middle son and his family who live out on the west coast. They are going to bless our family with our first granddaughter at Christmastime.

Life comes at us with a cornucopia full of surprises; some good, some not so good. But it's how we receive the surprises that shape us into who we are. I'm thankful to God who has my best interests at heart and He promises to take care of me come what may. Yes, I am truly blessed!

"Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence." ~ Jeremiah 17:7
I am so happy you have stopped by for tea! I hope you enjoyed your visit and you will come back again soon. If you would like to participate in Tea Time Tuesday just let me know in your comment and I will add your link to my post. Simply share a favourite teacup, teapot, or china used in a tea. A tea quote, poem, or scripture verse would be lovely too. You may also do coffee, chocolate, iced tea, or lemonade. The Tea Time Tuesday button near the top of my sidebar is available for you to use in your post if you wish.

Please link back to me so that your visitors may find their way here so they can visit all my lovely participants.

The participants listed below are in the order in which they first started to participate.
